De Felipe

De Felipe

The explosion of club culture in Madrid, at 90, hit squarely on De Felipe as a boy, because his ears came cassettes from the pioneer Djs and clubs. He started as self-taught with 12 years to get to do one of those sessions. Then for over 15 years of professional experience behind the decks, especially at Amnesia (Ibiza), as resident DJ and sharing cabin and sets with countless artists from all branches of electronic music. Leaving Ibiza did not imply giving up the influence that the White Island marked him, but returning to the underground has been a desired shift in his career, returning to its roots.

The sound developed by De Felipe is eclectic. He feels comfortable on long sets, from warm up to peak time, from deep house to techno. The intensity may vary but his sound is always aimed at the dance floor, seeking to connect the audience with the music that he reverberates, trying to tell a story while diving in the roots of house and techno. He confers special importance to mixture and harmony in his sets and goes for non-crowded tracks that endure over time.

These elements are also very alive when De Felipe is at the studio as producer. He is miscellaneous and personal at the same time. Under that premise has signed his first song, Camino, published in the compilation "System Failure" from Chaval Records label, while already working on his first EP.
