Roberto Gemelín is one of the most active producers in the scene of Madrid. Your springboard to "international fame" happened after editing Methods Of Dance (2004), as Robert Calvin with Tiga’s label Turbo, but 12" compulsive shoppers already knew him from their previous collaborations on the "vintage" label Star Whores for which he recorded Split (2002) together with Alek Stark. It would also be worth noting his remixes for genuine Disko B, Sindicato Records and for the young label MSX in which he tributes Megabeat with its recreation of the legendary Strange. As Groof he still has a far more extensive background as some of his first steps took place in Minifunk times, the shameless label from Barcelona then managed by Omar and DJ Loe with them he recorded Mambo! (1999) and I Want You (2000). He has also recorded as Groof techno sound aimed for the dancefloor with Fieber, Brainwaves or Shareware Records.

As a DJ, he has been resident for five years at Stardust club in Madrid. He recently published works with Warm Up Recordings, Nheoma, Chaval Records... Also as a DJ is resident in Discoteca and Femur Club gigs.
